摘 要 在当今的计算机时代，数据库应用成为新的研究课题；基于VisualBasic6.0数据库的应用成为新的研究课题；基于VisualBasic6.0的数据库信息查询系统的核心，是对信息和数据库进行加工处理、组织、管理和存储等；数据库与VisualBasic技术的复合应用是数据库应用的基本主题之一。 本系统采用SQL技术构建基于VisualBasic6.0的数据库应用系统——汽车租赁管理系统，数据库使用Access实现。该系统上的汽车租赁，利于客户的查询浏览和管理员对公司的管理，提高系统的操作处理效率。 汽车租赁管理系统属于数据库应用的范畴。从数据库的角度看，系统主要功能是实现对录入的车辆、客户、销售商租赁合同等文件的管理。汽车租赁系统是对VisualBasic6.0编程技术、Access数据库技术以及SQL的具体应用。 关键字：汽车租赁管理系统；ADO；数据库技术；Access；ODBC；SQL查询语言；Visual Basic6.0编程。
